    12" Long Shelf bracket for use with medium weight (1/16") or heavy weight (3/32") universal slotted standards with 1/2" slots on 1" centers. 
    We offer our 12" bracket in 3 finishes because of the popularity of the 12" shelf bracket, while the remaining lengths are only offered in chrome. These brackets are called Tap-In Brackets for a good reason. You must use a hammer or rubber mallet to tap the bracket into final position. This "locks" the bracket into position. You may also need a slight tap in the up direction when removing bracket.
